Dizzy is onto something entirely mesmerizing as proven with debut single “Stars and Moons”.
A new challenger approaches and that challenger is Dizzy. The Oshawa, ON-based band embraces elements from cinema soundscapes, electronic music, and pop to form their own alluring sound. The four-piece just released their debut single, “Stars and Moons” and it shows a promising future for the band both in the Canadian and global music scene. The highly intriguing track was produced by Grammy-nominee Damian Taylor (Arcade Fire, Bjork, The Killers) and released via Royal Mountain Records and Canvasback.
The track’s ambience mixed with vocalist Katie Munshaw’s charming vocals will instantly make Dizzy a band for listeners to keep a close eye and ear on.
When asked about the track’s meaning, vocalist Katie Munshaw explained,
“Stars and Moons was written at a time in my life when the relationships around me were falling apart while I was falling into one. From what I’ve seen, love is unreliable and sneaky. The song navigates whether it’s brave or naive to trust in it.”
The song explores this theme both within its lyrics and its mesmerizing sounds.
