After last night’s JUNO Awards, it is evident that Canadian musicians are continuing to top the charts. Toronto, Ontario based band, Valley, have released their first single of 2016 called “Swim“. Judging by this track, the band could very well be on their way to winning a JUNO in the future.

“Swim” begins as if a soothing indie track – it could almost pass as an interlude with the underlying ambience. When the additional guitar strums and Humber Gospel Choir are added, it is clear the band is beginning to build the track to something more than just an interlude. At the point when the chorus suddenly hits, I realize even more how unique the track is.

If you’re looking for a band whose music lets your imagination and ambition run wild, Valley may be a good addition to your music library.
